Hi Steemit Friends,

I have been playing next colony since the beginning and have spent some Steem already buying chests and blueprints so I can build my planets up quickly. Unfortunately, the areas around me have mostly been explored. Since next colony have introduced the new explorer II, I was thinking if the investment is needed for this to go further to build my planet empire.

I have no intention of battling or having enemies. The sole aim is to make what I think is a nice colony for myself. There are some downsides I need to weigh up. Each blueprint cost 29 Steem and you need to have them for each planet if you want to build more. I haven't been able to justify this cost as NC haven't had any prizes type of thing that we can work towards like some other games on the blockchain and I don't want to spend money on more things as this moment.

I also read on the discord that many people loose their explorers after 1-2 use so that is also a high lost rate for an expensive ship. It is confusing as everyone's luck is different but to put out a large amount of money for just one blueprint (I am hoping to buy some for a few planets) would set me way over budget for this game.
