The statement was delivered by the Chairman of the PKK Aceh Mobilization Team, Darwati A Gani, in his speech when officially opening the Coordination Meeting on Prevention and Handling of Pornography, initiated by the Office of Women Empowerment and Child Protection, at Mecca Hotel, Tuesday (28/11/2017)
"The level of violence caused by pornography is also potentially increasing, especially for women and children, so if the problem is not solved soon, we can be sure that various social issues related to pornography will continue to increase in our area," said Darwati
Darwati believes, the era of globalization and the advancement of information technology is the main trigger of increasing pornogafi activities in the community. This can be seen how easily people access pornography through various websites that exist.
