Howdy folks and greetings from the Great Plains of North Texas!
A couple weeks ago I posted a bunch of natural rock formations that looked like faces, bodies and animal shapes and I found a few more on Pinterest.
Unfortunately they were without locations but they're so interesting that I wanted to share them.
This first one is really bizarre. I tried to look up that site and nothing came up but the formation looks like it's in some desert. It's creepy:
This guy ain't winnin no beauty contest! Look how the area of the eye is eroded through to the other side to look like an eye:
This one here definitely looks carved but it's natural. To me it looks like a Mayan statue:
This one here looks like an elephant!
This one's amazing. I can see how the eyes are mouth were formed but it looks like the nose was stuck on there!
This one's actually a mountain:
Here's another whole body one, this guy is funny looking!
This last one isn't a rock formation, it's a tree trunk but it was such a cool look that I wanted to include it. Definitely not human though:

PS- Everyday I've been posting a photo which supposedly represents each state, this is from a ridiculous but fun article I found on www.livingmgz.com.
Today's state is the great state of Hawaii! Unfortunately I don't know any steemians from there. And if there are any, they probably won't be thrilled with this photo to represent them!
Hawaii's state motto is: “The Life of the Land is Perpetuated in Righteousness.” What a beautiful motto yes?
Well, even with all the breath-taking natural beauty on the islands they took another view, remember those huge lava flows?
I can see their point. It IS afterall, the land of volcanoes!
