Mlynicka dolina valley is one of most visited and also most beuatiful valleys in High Tatras mountains in Slovakia.
This valley should be divided to two parts. Lower part starts on Strbske Pleso near ski jump hills and covered on famous Skok waterfall. Is covered mostly by forests (partly devastated by timber harvesting) and higher by mountain pines shrubs. This part is open for whole year, but in winter you must be aware of avalanches, especially in higher parts.
Second, higher part of this valley starts above Skok waterfall by rocky terrain with hiking trail secured by chains, whose leads to first lake of valley - Pleso nad Skokom with amazing view to Strbsky stit mountain peak.
Later valley is less steeper and offers amazing views, than start to be more steeper and hiking trail leads around Kozie plesa lakes to Capie pleso lake, where valley itself finished and marked hiking trail goes up to Bystra lavka mountain pass. This higher part of valley is open only in summer season from start of june to end of october.
