Assuming that the site isn't blocked (which isn't a very safe assumption), it seems like it is only a matter of time until steemit picks up more Chinese users.
With Chinese miners greatly controlling bitcoin and crypto-mining, a decentralized social media platform will catch the eyes of the crypto-crowd.
What would a decentralized social media network look like in a highly centralized Chinese state? Probably a blocked IP address...but time will tell!
