Prey is exactly the kind of game that rewards being nosy, which is probably why I also took way longer than I expected to finish it. I kept opening every locker, checking weird little areas and going back to places I’d already visited because there was always some extra detail or useful item to find. That sense of having enough variety to keep wandering is a big part of what makes a game stick with me, and I get the same feeling when I’m browsing a large game library rather than just picking whatever is at the top. I came across this breakdown at https://holyspin-bonus.com/ and liked that it actually goes through the different types of games available, from slots and live tables to crash games and other formats, instead of treating the whole library as one big list. That kind of variety is what keeps me curious, and Prey absolutely nailed that feeling in a single player game.
