I look beyond... It's my day to day... Yes, I have burned bridges.... Because I'd rather lay them down than entrench myself to destroy... Especially when everything when I start to feel with too much load, I understand that it is not there.
As the years pass, many people discover that the true value of a relationship is not in being someone's first story, but in building a story that stays. It's not about who came first, but about who decided to stay, take care, respect, forgive and keep walking hand in hand when life presented challenges. The deepest love is not always the fastest or the most perfect.
So,... I prefer to turn intentions into results.
Many times it is the one who matures over time, grows in confidence and strengthens himself in difficult moments. Because in the end, more than finding the ideal person, it's about becoming the person capable of loving with fidelity, commitment and purpose.
There's just what I want us to see.
Emotionally healthy people understand that you can disagree with someone without needing to destroy them. That our convictions, beliefs, become much stronger when they do not depend on the one opposite, sharing them.
Do you know why?
Because the one who needs everyone to think like him or her to feel safe, deep down he or she is not standing as firmly as he or she seems. True solidity is noticeable when we can look at the one who believes differently, who lives differently, and still treat him with respect.
For these reasons, I prefer to build bridges even in the most adverse for a life with a calm heart and a safe nervous system.
