The most haunting experience I had was a very quick one but I was visiting my grandmother in her long term care facility and actually, she was sleeping and I was sitting next to her bed reading a magazine and I looked up and as clear as day there was a man standing on the other side of her window, in a military uniform just staring in the window. He was on the outside of the window and I blinked to clear my vision and he was gone. It scared the living tar out of me and I was scared to walk to my car that night...but I made it home. I wonder who he was! I wondered in the days to come if he was my grandfather but I think I would have recognized him and this man I had never seen before. Crazy.
