Your family sounds amazing. You do such an extraordinary job painting this picture that it feels like I knew them. Actually, your family sounds very similar to mine. Family was always first. It didn't much matter whether you were blood related or not, if you were in our circle, you were family and that was that.

This is the first time in my short 36 years that I am starting to really understand loss and the gaps that are missing in families as people pass on to their next life.
