Jhisley's tattoo, an spontaneous photography mini-session

Hey there 😄!

Today I bring you these photos I took of a friend. She had just gotten a tattoo on her arm and wanted some pictures to showcase it. Came up in convo with the girls at the studio while we were waiting on some clients who were takin' forever😕.

So, when she mentioned wanting to show off her new tattoo, we promptly went up to the photography studio on the upper floor and quickly set everything up to take the portraits.

I used two lights for most of the photos, a main one and a fill light, to which I added colored gels to give the images a certain atmosphere😏.

Jhisley is a bit shy, but she did very well in front of the camera. Later, amidst laughter, she mentioned that she was motivated because it was something she had been planning to do for a long time, ever since she got other tattoos, but for various reasons, she never got around to taking the photos.

By the time the clients showed up, we had enough shots done, so here's a peek at what we captured from that impromptu little session.

Hoy les traigo estas fotos que le hice a una amiga. Ella recién se había realizado el tatuaje del brazo, y quería algunas imágenes que lo mostraran. Aquello surgió de una conversación que estábamos teniendo las muchachas que trabajamos en el estudio, mientras esperábamos a unos clientes que estaban tardando demasiado.

Así que cuando ella mencionó que quería mostrar su nuevo tatuaje, ni cortas ni perezosas subimos al estudio de fotografía que se encuentra en la planta superior y rápidamente lo dispusimos todo para hacer los retratos.

La mayoría de las fotos las hice con dos luces, una principal y una de recorte a la que agregué geles de colores para darle ese ambiente a la imagen.

Jhisley es un poco tímida, sin embargo se desenvolvió muy bien frente a la cámara, luego entre risas nos comentó que estaba motivada, porque era algo que tenia pensado hacer desde hace mucho tiempo, cuando se hizo otros tatuajes, pero que por varias razones nunca llegó a tomarse las fotos.

Cuando llegaron los clientes ya habíamos hecho suficientes imágenes y aquí les dejo una muestra de las cosas que sacamos, de esa mini sesión espontanea.
