When I changed my job behind a desk for photography, I did it with a bit of fear. Fear of taking that leap into the world of freelancing or entrepreneurship. It's been almost 4 years now, and I still haven't regretted it even for a little while, in a day (... did you read that 
I have to admit that this has been thanks to my family and friends. I've never lacked for job opportunities. Advice or even equipment when I've needed it. Someone or other has even lent me their daughter to practice taking studio photos with kids 馃槀.

When I started at Lily's studio, she informed me that her sister-in-law, Amarilys, would be taking over soon, as she was moving to Spain. I was worried because Lily is an easy-going and healthy person, a no nonsense person, but I didn't know Amarilys.
To make a long story short, it turns out that life has continued to give me good friends in this journey that I started 4 years ago. Ama, as we affectionately call her, is an incredible person, full of joy, and so is her family.
On the occasion of Lily's brother David's birthday, both she and Ama asked me to take some pictures of him. David is a serious guy. The opposite of his wife, who is all "bachata"馃槅. Maybe that's why they have a whole life together 馃槀.
So we set up a day in the studio to do the portraits his sister wanted. I leave you here some of the pictures taken, and you should not doubt for a minute that it was all laughs, all the time because of the nonsense that Amarilys told David to at least get a smile. But it was achieved. 馃榿

Debo reconocer que esto ha sido as铆 gracias a mi familia y a mis amigos. Nunca me han faltado oportunidades de trabajo. Asesoramiento o hasta equipamiento cuando lo he necesitado. Alguno que otro incluso me ha prestado a su hija para practicar hacer fotos en estudio con ni帽os 馃槀.
Como dice
Recuerdo, cuando comenc茅 en el Estudio de Lily, que ella pronto se iba a mudar para Espa帽a y me comentaba que a cargo de todo se quedar铆a Amarilys, su cu帽ada. Yo estaba preocupada porque Lily es una persona f谩cil de tratar y sana, una gente sin dobleces, pero no conoc铆a a Amarilys.
Para no hacerles demasiado largo el cuento, resulta que la vida me sigui贸 regalando buenos amigos en esta etapa que comenc茅 hace 4 a帽os. Ama, como le decimos de cari帽o, es una persona incre铆ble, llena de alegr铆a y su familia otro tanto.
En ocasi贸n del cumplea帽os de David, el hermano de Lily, tanto ella como Ama, me pidieron que le hiciera unas fotos. David es un tipo serio. Lo opuesto a su esposa que es toda bachata. Quiz谩s por eso llevan toda una vida juntos 馃槀.
As铆 que fue dispusimos un d铆a en el estudio para hacer esos retratos que su hermana quer铆a. Te dejo aqu铆 algunas de las fotos tomadas y no debes dudar ni un minuto de que aquello fueron puras risas, todo el rato a causa de los disparates que Amarilys le dec铆a David para lograr arrancarle una sonrisa al menos.
