One aspect of photography that I really like is experimenting with color gels. But it happens that I don't always have a lot of time. However, sometimes what might seem like a problem can turn into an opportunity.
A client who had to come to the studio for an appointment, had to make an urgent procedure and had to cancel the session the same day it was due 鈽癸笍. I was already there, so I took advantage and with Jhisley who also works at the studio and loves to take pictures, we did this mini session dedicated to creative photography with light and colored gels.馃榿
The lighting scheme basically involved two side strip boxes and a light dome at 45 degrees, in all cases with grids.
We used a black background, to avoid contaminating the colors and to make the subject silhouetted only with the effect of the light.
The colors used were not chosen at random, but as my intention was to create a cold area on the outside and warm inside, I chose blue and green for the external colors, so for the internal colors we used their complementary colors which are orange and red respectively, achieving what is known as simultaneous contrast, as they reinforce each other and look more vibrant to the human eye than if they were alone.

Un aspecto de a fotograf铆a que me gusta mucho , es la experimentaci贸n la luz y espec铆ficamente con los geles de colores. Pero sucede que no siempre tengo mucho tiempo para ello. Sin embargo, hay que veces que lo que pudiera parecer un problema, se puede convertir en una oportunidad.
Un cliente que ten铆a que presentarse para un turno en el estudio, tuvo que realizar un tr谩mite de urgencia y debi贸 cancelar la sesi贸n, el mismo d铆a que le correspond铆a 鈽癸笍. Ya yo estaba all铆, as铆 que aprovech茅 y con Jhisley que tambi茅n trabaja en el estudio y le encanta hacerse fotos, hicimos esta mini sesi贸n dedicada a la fotograf铆a creativa luz y geles de colores.
El esquema de iluminaci贸n b谩sicamente se trat贸 de dos strip box laterales y un domo de luz a 45 grados, en todos los casos con rejillas.
Usamos un fondo negro, para evitar que se contaminaran los colores y lograr que el sujeto se silueteara solamente con el efecto de la luz.
Los colores que se emplearon no fueron elegidos al azar, sino que como mi intenci贸n era crear una zona fr铆a en el exterior y c谩lida al interior, eleg铆 para los colores externos el azul y el verde, as铆 que para los colores internos usamos sus complementarios que son el naranja y el rojo respectivamente, logrando lo que se conoce como contraste simult谩neo, pues entre ellos se refuerzan y lucen m谩s vibrantes al ojo humano que si estuvieran solos.
