Some of you may remember his face from a post a while back. Nikki, is a young trans woman. She went to one of the safaris, and called me on my cell phone from far away, to tell me that she was there, but, that she didn't come closer because she was embarrassed to get close. She didn't know how she was going to be received in our group. I had many different thoughts about that call. I had never personally dealt with a trans person before, and my biggest fear was to say something that could offend her. However, I told her: come closer girl and stop the nonsense! 😁 (a VERY CUBAN way to make her feel more confident😃) So she arrived, a little shy.
In the photos I show today, there is already another Nikki, one who arrived with high platforms, glitter on her face, and red hair. Full of good vibes and laughing up to her elbows.
No one in our group gives a damn that Nikki is trans. Nikki is beautiful, sexy and gives her all for the pictures. She's not afraid of close up, and when she sees herself in the pictures afterward, she always vibrates with excitement. 😍
So now she is a little bit happier because she knows she has a new space where she can be herself without fear of prejudice.
Algunos quizás recuerden su rostro de un post de hace un tiempo. Nikki, es una joven trans. Fue a uno de los safaris, y me llamo al móvil desde lejos, para decirme que estaba ahí, pero, que no se acercaba porque le daba pena. No sabía como iba a ser recibida en nuestro grupo. A mi me causó muchos y disímiles pensamientos aquella llamada. Nunca había tratado personalmente con una persona trans, y, mi mayor temor era decir algo que pudiera ofenderle, solo por desconocimiento. Sin embargo, le dije: acércate niña y deja la bobería! (una forma MUY CUBANA , de hacerle sentir más en confianza) Así llegó, algo tímida.
En las fotos que muestro hoy, ya hay otra Nikki, una que llegó con plataformas altísimas, brillos en la cara, y un pelo rojo. Llena de buena vibra y riendo hasta por los codos.
A nadie en nuestro grupo le importa un pimiento, que Nikki sea trans. Nikki es bella, sexy y se entrega para las fotos. No le teme a los close up, y cuando se ve a si misma en las imágenes luego, siempre vibra de emoción.
Así que ahora es un poquito más feliz. Porque sabe que tiene un nuevo espacio donde puede ser ella sin temor al prejuicio.
