A good but akward question huh?
Hmmm, we were watching a movie where an actor was to donate one of his kidnies to another actor for his survival, then my younger brother ask me, Sister, won't he die if he gives out his kidney? Then i replied, God is just a perfect God, making no mistakes, everything that God has made double in our body is for a purpose, and it's out of his great wisdom. So we have two kidnies, so if one fails to function the other can support, likewise liver, eyes, ears etc.
After my reply to him, I began to see how wise and how perfect God is.
In Genesis 2:18 God saw how much man has to accomplish, and all he has put man in charge of, and he had compassion on him, and in his wisdom he created woman out of man, I can say he made man's bones incomplete inorder to make a woman to be able to become his help meet, but before thinking of creating the woman as a help meet, God felt that man was lonely, and needed a companion. The woman was the first creation man ever acknowledged and appreciated.
So God intiated marriage for two reasons
This unoin was such that a man will leave his mother and father and mother, and cling to his wife, and both of them shall become one.
So your spouse is meant to give you all the company you will ever need, and all the support you will ever need to help you achieve what God has created him to achieve.. Such a wise aGod
Hmmmmmmm, so God really want's this?.
But these days, man no longer cares about God's purpose, they no longer ask themselves questions like, Is she/he going to help me accomplish what God wants me to accomplish, Now it's now more of I love her/him, we understand each other, I can't live without him/her, and therefore u go ahead and marry, what about the vison that God has placed in your hand.
But then the major purpose of creating man is so that man will be having fellowship with God.
But then paul while adressing the corinthians in 1st corinthians 7 had made it clear that marriage is a good thing indeed, but it is better to be single, or be in marriage and act as thou single, as that way you can serve God better, but he pointed out that every man has his own proper gift from God.
That is to say, being single or being married, should be inline with your vision, and not for any other reason.
So rather than being in a hurry to marry, sit and ask yourself, what is the vision God has given to me? Marriage for me?
