Hi everyone,
The truth of the matter is that at a point in our lives we've let just one person creep into our heart, made a gold seat for them in our heart and placed them on the on the seat, giving them a crown made of gold with diamond stars, setting every other person (so long as human being is concerned) behind them. That one person that the thought of them makes us smile and even laugh out loud, this person can never be two, unless you are confused.
If you are still with that person good to know, if you haven't found that person, don't be in a hurry.
HOW DO I EXPRESS WHAT I FEEL
Most relationships starts with one party's effort, maybe in words or action, but to be on a safer side, it will be better you express how you feel about the other person in words to the person's face while looking at the person's eyes. That alone proves how courageous you are, and also let's you know how the other party feel about you, and if you have right and opportunity to prove your love fully to that one special person. Most times just expressing yourself by being kind, loving etc maybe misinterpreted by the other party. Beware of first impression, they matter a lot
HOW WILL MY RELATIONSHIP BE LIKE!!!
I finally got the the love of my life, I'm just wondering what my relationship will be like, most times people overlook this stage, as they are over blinded by love, but this is stage is very important, you need to sit down and evaluate what your relationship will look like; consider these:
The foundation: The foundation of every relationship matters, how did it start? Where did we first meet? When did he/she start creeping into my heart? What about him/her makes me feel better? What do I truly feel for him/ her? How much of her/his attention do I have already? Is the love one sided, equal or unequal? Do I deserve her/him. Answers to these question gives you a better view of what you should expect in your relationship.
VISION: hmmmm,
Everyone has a vision for their life, the kind of person you will value and love with ur whole heart should be able to push your vision to reality, this is to say, you both must have similar vision, dating one with a totally different vision isn't too safe, your own vision may suffocate while trying to achieve the other persons own. At this point you should be asking, Does he/she value the same thing I value? Is the difference in what we value so wide? Is our priority similar too? . Sometimes vision changes, a change in vision can make one party's vision suffer, beware, at that point use your head, not your heart.
BARRIER: unexpected huh?
A lot of people go into a relationship so blindly in love, not caring of the barriers, most times feeling they have none but themselves, unfortunately there are barriers. Don't be in a hurry, ask yourself Is he/she my spec? Can I always be proud of him/her no matter what? Can I change him/her to the kind of man/woman I want? If no, then it's a barrier. Can his/her friend be my friend? You can think of anything that can be a barrier, if the barrier is stronger than what can make the relationship strong, then beware, at that point use head not your heart.
When you are satisfied with the answers you will get after critically examining these point, then you can go ahead and have a wonderful relationship.
Next time, we will talk about what is expected of every relationship.
Thanks for reading, I hope you got an understanding.
