Vibe Web3 Music Competition Week 10-Suddenly (Original Composition )

Hello everyone, my name is 2jo, Jamming Joshua on this platform, and this is my first post on Hive.
I am more than thrilled to join the ongoing Vibes Web3 Music Competition. I was introduced to the competition by @ibbtammy, and she did a great job of guiding me through the ecosystem.

A big thank you to @lordbutterfly for organizing this on the platform, as it gives musicians like me an amazing opportunity to put my work out there.

I did an original piece titled Suddenly.
To me, music is an art of expression and music is a medication.
It’s a little wonder we have different genres of music, and each sound, chord, beat, and vibe connotes a different feeling and emotion for each person who listens to them.
For example, the R&B genre gives off a whole serenity and calm vibe. You can sleep, go on a date, reflect, or cry to express how you feel with the R&B genre playing in the background. It sets the mood right.

However, when you want to party hard, dance, celebrate, and let out steam, you know you’ll definitely be gunning for some dancehall, afrobeat, Amapiano, and the like but if you want to go wild, then you’ll definitely need some rock and house genres.
Music creates the mood we feel in the scenes we watch in movies.
Without music, the scenes will feel too flat, and the emotions the actors and directors would want the viewers to feel in the movie might be lost. Watching a sad scene with happy mood music will make that scene confusing without the right mood music for the scene.

Music is light!!!
With music, I can communicate my thoughts and emotions by writing and singing the expressions in the lyrics. It gives me a voice, and it makes what is hidden beneath come to the surface as I can freely express my emotions.

I am an R&B and Afrobeat lover. These two genres I can say I love the most.
It may seem as though the genre started fading at some point, but listening to the likes of JOE, my namesake😉 his songs like Ghetto Child, Better Days, and Wanna Know... Brandy’s “Sitting On Top Of The World and Toni Braxton’s “Man Enough” got a remix from Burna Boy, and it became “Last Last” (a global hit).
These genres are unarguably my favourites.

Music is my life!!!
My original piece was inspired by a thought.
You know how they say “marry your friend”?
So I thought about two single people who meet each other, an introduction happens, they become good friends, they vibe with each other often, and then BOOM! they start developing feelings beyond just friendship. They love each other’s company and can barely function when the other person isn’t around.

Those types of feelings happen frequently!!! And it’s awesome!!
They’ll probably be asking themselves how they got to the point where friendship metamorphosed into love. I have first-hand experience with this, and it inspired me to write this song, I also know that there are a lot of people in my shoes that can relate.

I hope you like my short piece. I created everything from start to finish in my studio.
Also, if you have ever fallen in love with your friend so much that you want to foster a more than-friend relationship, you are not alone; we are together, and we can make it work.
