Are you very interested in knowing about Heaven and tasting it pleasures?
I know that I am my fellow steemians and online friends!
I know we live in a world where we worship money and material things, but
I often wonder what sort of things we will being thinking about in Heaven. If
there's no longer a need to worry about money or the struggles of holding
onto your day job, then we apparently just live with no worries and live with
the freedom of God's paradise and love.
I'm not sure what steemit has to say about God and the bible. However, I know
that God is more important than the internet and all of its websites and whatnot.
Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy being a part of the internet and also a part of
steemit. I hope make lots of money with steemit, cryptocurrency, and other parts
of the web. But when I lay down in bed at night and think about what it will be like
in Heaven and being with Jesus and the angels, I am not really thinking about
posting internet articles and posting stuff online. I think about paradise.
Who knows for sure what Heaven has to offer, but we know that it wont offer
anything negative. There will be no more sorrow or tears. No more pain and suffering.
No disappointment or jealousy, no greed.
I try to imagine myself flying through Heaven, or even swimming in it. Perhaps I'll get
to drive a really nice car or be driven around like royalty in a fancy automobile. I try to
imagine what kind of mansions we will live in up there in God's Heaven.
Will my home in Heaven have a big pool in the backyard? I always loved swimming in a pool..
Think of the people you will meet in Heaven and how awesome your relationships with
them will be. You'll see people you once knew that you always wanted to reunite with,
old friends, family, partners.
Have you ever read Randy Alcorn's book "Heaven"? Here's a youtube video about it:
Although this dedicated Christian author has not actually been to Heaven, he bases his
opinions of what he thinks Heaven may be like on scriptures in the King Jame Bible.
He thinks that alot of things we have come to know and love about planet Earth and our
daily lives as human beings may actually be the same things we enjoy in Heaven, accept
better. For example, those of us who enjoy watching movies, sports, art & art history, and
that sort stuff may actually be enjoying those same things in Heaven, but with no bad or
negative aspects of them. The good things of Earth will be renewed without the negativity
and evil in them. We can build buildings and rebuild Earth without getting tired, worn down,
or being physically injured. No one will grow old or have bad days.
Can you imagine being in a perfect human body without imperfections and old age? I try to
imagine it when I lay in bed at night and meditate about the afterlife and pray to Jesus.
I could go on and on about the possibilities of Heaven and how perfect it would be, but I
cannot know what the Lord has to offer for sure because I have not died yet. Knowing and
trusting that God has saved my soul and prepared a place for my in Heaven I think that I
am successful in life and that no pleasure in this life could even compare to it, even money.
So when life get you down and you worry about work, making money, sustaining a marriage
or relationship, etc. just remember that if you have trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as your own
personal savior that you will someday be living in an eternal bliss of happiness with ending.
I hope my post has made people on steemit think about Heaven and look forward to it, despite
what problems this life may be burdening them with. Hold on to your faith in God and know that
your earthly life will only last so many years before you pass into God's Heaven.
