bumphead parrotfish

my FB friend mr Rommel identified it as Bumphead parrotfish ( Bolbometopon muricatum ,Valenciennes, 1840) and not a Humphead/Napoleon wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus, Rüppell, 1835). prominent horizontal stripes for humphead is absent in this photo.

to us scuba divers, parrotfish is worth more alive than dead. unfortunately for the poor artisanal fishermen in puerto princessa, palawan philippine its a food and money.
