Here is the culmination of the control panel I laid out the other day.
Here you see from left to right. Delta AA2 motion controller. Along with some terminals and the power supply for the motion circuit. This would be considered class 2 wiring.
Right of the class 2 power supply we have the big black and heavy 480 volt to 120 volt step down transformer.
In the next picture are the safety relays and the 24 volt fusing.
The left most relay is the global e-stop safety circuit. The next relay is the light curtain safety circuit. The cluster of black blocks are 24 volt DC fuse holders.
You can see the processor and I/O rack bellow the safety relays.
This customer requested all I/O be run to terminals. So much more wiring...
In this picture we have the 2 VFDs which control our motors and the class 1 24 volt power supply.
In the next picture you can see the high voltage fuse holders and the main disconnect.
Now that the panel’s wired. It’s time to start on the machine..
