RE: The Pal Post of Neoxian
Kind of, but it has it's own set of rules (many of them different from those on Steemit) and is effectively a RESET on who holds the most power (platform currency) to distribute the inflationary token.

RE: It appears the tokenisation of the web has truly started on the Steem Blockchain.
From what I read the new PAL condenser front end has already implemented some similarities of the EIP model that is still being discussed by the witnesses for Steemit.com. Yes, and on top of that it has

RE: Bitcoin Was Due for the Correction. How to Know When to Expect Them?
Yeah. I use a lot of indicators too, but there's only a few that I really depend on and feel that they're giving me useful/ tradable info. And certainly none of them tell me the precise price that markets

RE: Bitcoin Was Due for the Correction. How to Know When to Expect Them?
I'm not sure "expected" is the right word. It certainly is possible but I don't think it's probable. There are too many bullish signs for me to accept that as a likelihood.

This blog was posted on PALNet, btw. I suggest you check it out and see what it's about for yourself. Pretty cool initiative, IMHO. Whitepaper found in the below link:

RE: The SEC shuts down 1Broker, are other exchanges next?
Of course you're right. I was well aware at the time of posting this that they weren't certifying ownership of actual shares in these companies. It was a combination of laziness and realizing that anyone

RE: Bitcoin Halving One Year Away!
It's kind of like watching molasses slowly rolling down the side of a tree in the middle of winter, but, yeah, I guess I can accept it if it translates into a lot more wealth for me :)

RE: Bitcoin's Logarithmic Regression and What it Says About the Chances of a Bull Market
I think it's always a good idea to try to be on the side (bias) with the highest odds of being correct and that's where a model like this, that has a provably high statistical significance, is useful,

Now that type of reward function makes sense, tie it to something tangible that almost every Steemit user can grasp. I'm not sure that I agree with the chosen "bonus" (I think keeping it to something

We don't totally disagree, but the solution is apparently not obvious and the problem is very complex, particularly because it (the problem) is rooted, and mostly rests, with human psychology, which, as
