ISO800, Aperture 1/125, f3.5, Black Pro-Mist 1/2 This is my entry for the monomad challenge
One part of me feels great pride in myself, my passions, my profession, and my place in society. Another part of me is prejudice towards myself for the various downfalls in life. My failures and misdirections I put on myself.

The inspiration behind this shoot was my newfound love for black and white films. Some may call them talkies. I'd estimate I've been watching Three, to five black and white movies every month, if not every week. So to say I have a newfound appreciation for monochrome art but I see the beauty in monochrome photography differently now.
Words can't quite do it justice. It's just I get it now.
I've watched beautifully shot films over the last 9-months by various directors & cinematographers. I've not only been watching some amazing stories but I've also been learning a lot about lighting, composition and blocking. Almost every movie is a masterclass if you watch it for the right reasons.
Oddly enough I know more about cinematographers and directors than photographers! I get most if not all of my inspiration for video and photography from cinema. On the rare occasion I'll get inspiration from a painting or art exhibit but for the most part, cinema is a very important part of my life. I'd love to know more photographers not only on Hive but also around the world. I'd like to take a deep dive into the history of photography. As-is I think this is best course of action to find out who the trailblazers were before me and see how I can carry the torch for generations. I think this may be essential with me entering the NFT marketplace & the Metaverse. It'll be interesting to take a look in the past to see where the future will take us.
