We would recommend not automatically upvoting all accounts published in your tag to avoid rewarding the scammer.

I don't vote automatically in this community but manually, depending on the quality of the photos or text (@jaki01 and @kobold-djawa follow the manual upvote of @jasuly most of the time).

Unfortunately, it is not easy to find out for me if the photos are own ones or based on plagiarism (some people make really good own photos, but others are just scammers).

You are right concerning the lack of interaction, but one problem is that most new users (also the honest ones) have nearly no comments in their posts on HIVE if they haven't been discovered from any popular user yet. Therefore it is hard for them to interact, if (nearly) nobody comments.

What I can do is not to upvote accounts anymore which you have downvoted before.
I appreciate that you downvote the scammers and thus show me who they are!

In addition I will also mute the downvoted users in my commmunity.
