Now, as I am living in the Philippines I won't be able to visit Málaga as often as before anymore.

But maybe you mean the hotel costs, public transportation, restaurant prices etc.?
In Málaga you can have everything, from relatively cheap to very expensive, but because many tourists are visiting the city, I guess in average the prices are comparable high.
