I fell asleep early on accident the last two nights, and both nights Mila woke up around 3AM so I decided to crank out a quick post. I felt like I needed to meditate a bit anyways.
I've been reading through The Book Of Mastery - which I've found excellent so far - and found two concepts I wanted to share with you. The first, is approaching the world in a new way. The guides tell us to close our eyes, and when we open them, to see the world in a new way. To drop all our current beliefs about how life is supposed to be experienced and just relax and see what there is.
Keeping this in mind, later in the book I was reading about how everything, all of the different things, are made of the same stuff, yet vibrating at a different rate. And really, our vibration is all we really have to give, our BE-ing. Even speaking and moving are a part of that being, they are a type of vibration.
I ended up pondering on this concept, and had some pretty good results following up with meditation. Being open to how something is vibrating and why, with each vibration being recognized in the field of awareness. focusing on vibration, and your vibration or BE-ing. It's incredible how much information we pick up as a vibration
For a moving meditation, I asked myself: where am I missing out on perceiving life's vibrations? What are my blind spots in experience? And that question usually answers with physical and mental tensions. So I try to see why I have that tension, if any muscle areas are overactive or underactive
For me, a tension is like a certain kind of hanging on at a specific point or area, whether mental, emotional, or physical. We always have the option of relaxing these tensions. The area I've found most difficult to relieve, or re-live, these tensions, is the teeth and jaw
Hopefully this was coherent... a bit late/early, but I'm glad I tried out the ideas in the book one more time, test out the concept of viewing the world as vibration and see if the concept helps while meditating or shifts your perception in some way. I also highly recommend picking the book up, it's challenging, but the writing has been helping me see more clearly.
