Being a believer or follower of Christ doesn't exonerate you from suffering. Suffering will come our way and the fact that a believer goes through suffering does not defeat the love of God for His people. Many do ask "if God is loving and caring why does He allow people to go through suffering and hardship?", "why does He allow natural disasters and turmoil?" etc.

Christ went through suffering to prove to humanity that suffering is part of life on earth as a believer. The good news is that Christ was able to go through suffering without giving up and has assured us that He won't ever leave nor forsake us. No matter what you're going through now don't give up because after test comes testimony.
