[국제통상쪼가리] #3 선적 관련 장소 [INTN' Trade piece] #3 Shipping Places

안녕하세요, 국제통상쪼가리 3번째입니다!
쓰다보니 이름이 이상한 느낌이 들긴 한데 좋은 이름 있으면 수정할까 싶습니다 ㅋㅋ
두번째였던 컨테이너 다음으로 그 컨테이너들이 어디에서 모여서 어떻게 선박에 실리는지
실물의 흐름에 따라 생각하실 수 있도록, 선적장소에 대해서 써볼까 해요.

Hi, this is 3rd time for International Trade piece.
As I have written this series, I felt it's little weird name.. so, I am looking for some other good name :-)
Last time I wrote container stuffs. To help you understand in the same context, I will write down about Shipping places today.

그 전에 한 가지 짚고 넘어가야 하는 부분이 있습니다.
컨테이너의 종류도 다양하긴 하지만,
안에 채워진 양에 따라서 구분을 짓고 있어요.
가득 찼을 경우 FCL(Full-Container-Load), 아직 공간이 남아있거나 더 채워야할 컨테이너라면 LCL(Less-than-Container-Load) 라고 불립니다.
이것을 염두해주시면 장소에 대한 이해가 쉬울 것입니다.

To bring this forward, I have to show some terms for easy understanding.
As we classified kinds of containers, but there is another classification by amount.
If the container is filled with full package, it is called FCL (Full-Container-Load).
If the container is not fully filled to be FCL, it is called LCL (Less-than-Container-Load)
Please keep in mind for understanding shipping place.

(일단 이 글에는 실물의 움직임만 적을 예정이기 때문에 선적요청서 같이 서류에 관한 내용은 제외시켰습니다.
다음에 기회가 있으면 적도록 할게요)

항구에서 수출입 되는 컨테이너들을 선박에 올리고 내리는 장소가 따로 있습니다.
큰 범위로의 명칭은 컨테이너 터미널이라고 하는데요, 오늘은 그 구조에 대해 주로 이야기 해보겠습니다.
컨테이너 터미널은 어마어마하게 큽니다.
그 거대한 컨테이너 선들이 몇대씩 컨테이너를 올리고 내리는데, 터미널에서 맡아둬야 하는 기능이 있어야 하다보니 커요.
작년에 문을 연 인천 컨테이너 전용 터미널만 해도 축구장 67개 크기입니다.
곤충의 머리, 가슴, 배처럼 터미널도 큰 구분이 있어요.
Freight Station Area, Storage Yard, Marshalling Yard, Apron 순으로 바다와 가깝습니다.

There is a place to load and unload containers.
In large meaning, it's term is Container Terminal. and this is today's main thing especially about structure.
Container Terminal is really huge area.
Because several container ships (that is also big) are being loaded or unloaded there, the terminal has to have function as keeping & sending.
Inchon Container Terminal which is open last year is same size for 67 soccer stadiums.
Like insect, it has some structure.
Freight Station Area, Storage Yard, Marshalling Yard, Apron (from land to ocean in order)

일단 국내에서 해외로 갈때를 기준으로 설명해드릴게요.
컨테이너를 실은 차량이 터미널에 도착하면, 컨테이너의 종류와 FCL/LCL에 따라서 방향이 달라집니다.
FCL의 경우, CY (Container Yard)로 바로 들어가는데, CY는 Storage Yard와 Marshalling Yard에 걸쳐 있는 곳입니다.
CY에서는 FCL만 위치할 수 있어요.

First, I will explain following export (land to ocean)
When the container arrive at Terminal, it will be sent to different way by FCL/LCL.
For FCL, it is sent to CY (Container Yard) right away, CY places Storage Yard & Marshalling Yard.
Only FCL can go to CY.

LCL의 경우는 CFS(container fright station) 라고 불리는 Freight Station Area에 위치한 장소로 갑니다.
이곳에서는 LCL들을 채워서 FCL로 만들어주거나 FCL 물건을 끄집어 내는 일들을 해요.
여기서 FCL이 되면 CY로 갑니다.
선박이 접안하여 선적이 진행되기 전에 실려질 FCL들은 Marshalling Yard로 가서 Apron 으로 가게 됩니다.
(Marshalling Yard는 방금 선적/하역을 하여 잠시 컨테이너를 두는 장소입니다.)

In case of LCL, it is sent to CFS(container fright station) which places Freight Station Area.
In CFS(container fright station), make LCL to be FCL by stuffing or FCL to LCL by stripping.
After stuffing, LCL changed to FCL. And goes to CY.
Before shipping, FCLs planned to be shipped go to Marshalling Yard for ready to go Apron.
(Marshalling Yard is place for keeping short time about freights. it's function is closer to storage than Apron.)

Apron은 직접 배에 크레인이 화물을 싣는 장소입니다. 바다 바로 앞에는 컨테이너 선을 정박하기 위한 안벽이 존재하구요.
여기서 컨테이너 적재가 끝나면 일정에 맞춰 출항하게 되는 것입니다.
추가적으로 이러한 것들을 보면서 통제하는 컨트롤 타워가 있네요.

Apron is place to shipping freight with crane. In front of it, there is Quay for keeping stay the container ship.
After shipping, the ship goes to Ocean.
In addition to this, there is control tower in Marshalling Yard.

간략하게 설명한다는 것이 빠진 것도 많고 하여 부족한 설명이었습니다;
다음에는 좀더 잘 써보도록 노력할게요!
