It is so appalling to see humans fighting over who is right and who is wrong on many subjects like religion, politics, sports etc.
The seed of selfishness is still at work in our souls and that is why selfless love is a scarce commodity amidst us.
You can air your beliefs, views and opinions without infringing on your neighbor's right to freedom of expression.
It is not wise to subjugate your fellow humans into believing what you believe and if they don't believe you sentence them to death, that is against the gift of freewill God has graciously given to all.
Let's put aside sentimental debates it will take us no further, only farther from the uniting bond that holds us together.
Why are we killing ourselves over flimsy matters such as worldviews, the history and the authenticity of world religions and their holy books. Anyone can believe whatever s/he wants. Who are you to judge and condemn?
Our focus should be to correct the wrong mindset of hating people because of their different views, faith or ideologies. Everyone has right to what s/he believes and practices. And human rights must be respected.
I don't have to defend God or His Holy Book. Who am I to defend the God that made me, instead God should defend me. We are belittling God by defending him. Are you God's defender, or is God your defender?
I don't have to defend the Bible or the deity of Jesus before anyone (Jesus and the Bible will defend themselves.)
Anyone fighting for his religion shows one thing -- his religion is dead and defenseless.
In this rule-and-divide society all I gotta do is to show agape love to the world around me and shine the gospel light before their eyes, not by arguments but by gracious actions. And point the way of salvation by the death and resurrection of Jesus, not via logics and human sense but by practical example.
It is then left for my neighbor to choose whether to believe or not.
