"My life is like a wondrous garden”...she said.
"I’ve planted every variety of flower,
some perennial...
some more seasonal...
all lending to the full spectrum of hues that color my days.
Even the weed, (which I did not invite), crashes my
posey-party-patch,
with its fermenting nature, and its
emboldening tenacity,
tainting the neighborhood with its contrary attitude,
and wily ways!
They are the flags (weeds) of battles, wars, and countless “trowels” and tribulations in the beautification purge!
...weeds and worms,
just as darkness and light,
serve the fullness of a garden!
they assure the balance of being,
the richness of the journey...
and the full fragrance
of blossoms!”
