So the media house I work with had this conference to cover and even though I work there as a writer I decided to make myself useful and double as an interviewer haha, it was scary but I knew it was going to be fun right from the on set.
Am not really a social person so whenever it came to making a public appearance I always try to keep it at a minimal but I knew that wasn't going to be the case at these particular event so I really looked forward to it.
So when we got there, initially there was a little bit of challenge because I was doing something I haven't really done before or trained to do but with time I seemed to get a hang of it and it felt great.
I will always be glad I took the decision to be a part of the great team that worked together zealously to cover the event and it's an experience I won't forget in a hurry. I learnt more about my self when it seemed I was shoved into a scene to play a character I never thought I could be. With what I've learnt I look forward to exploring more.
CLOSING: it's always nice to step out of one's comfort zone every once in a while so life doesn't get lived as though in a box. Go out there and explore and amaze yourself as you learn more about who you really are. You don't have to be great or even good at doing things that aren't really you but its the thought and the experience that matters.
