I didn't know about Gordon Setters until now. In the 80's, I had six Rotties (3 of them out of standards, severely over-sized at > 160 lbs. ).

They looked fierce. Each one of them were at least 5' 2" standing on their hind lags!

BUT, for my family and friends, they were giant, lovable teddy bears.

Sadly, I had to find them homes when I simultaneously got deployed and divorced.

Anyway, both your Gordon Setters and my Rotties share that beautiful brown/black color scheme.
