Continually unearthed evidence like this suggests that the history of the Americas has and still is being manipulated.

To what end?

I don't know.

But I suspect it has to do with ensuring that the traditional opinion of the "New World" is maintained.

Let me briefly explain the ramifications of that belief.

The "New World" is and has always been painted as less civilized than the "Old World".

For the governments and populace of the "Old World", this makes the "New World's" original inhabitants and their civilizations somewhat inferior, unworthy of the respect and basic human rights of their "Old World" counterparts .

And history shows us what the "holier than thou" mindset leads to: pillage, plundering and multiple genocides.

Future misery could be averted if more and more people question the status quo.

Once the personal research is done and the intentional suppression of facts are revealed, a new paradigm may take root - a paragon that debunks old biases of superiority and inferiority .

You will question many of your own long-held beliefs about the Americas.
