Dragonfly being an insect. This insect cannot walk. They have 2 pairs of wings. They fly on wings. The dragonfly has 6 spiny legs. Because of their thorny legs, they can sit on anything. They have a tail larger than their body. Their heads are bigger than their bodies.
Dragonfly is found in the vicinity of water bodies, ponds, lakes, fountains. Their eggs do not hatch without touching the water.
Dragonfly eats small insects like flies, bees, ants, butterflies etc. Dragonfly has a stiff jaw. By which they can bite hard. There is no poison in their mouths. However, if they bite, it is better to wash the wound immediately. Because insects carry all kinds of germs.
