The shear opulence of some hotels is amazing. Some really deserve the accolade of 5 star.
Pan Pacific @ Convention centre Melbourne, has an awesome lobby. You should find the time to visit this lobby for something different. (Also, the lobby of Crown Casino Hotel is very nice for feeling like the uber wealth.)
Anyway, they have an art gallery on display.
The seats are comfortable. An array of all sorts of people are milling in and out. Take a coffee and enjoy the spectacle.
