Direct invites to add members has been a boon for the Great Australian Guild.
We have almost a full roster of members.
Most Brawls are being filled with 8-9 Frays being occupied. The unfilled Frays are, generally, Alpha/Beta Only Frays, or Gold Card only.
Most of the Members are not beefy V6's, and we chug along, on our fuel efficient, 4 cylinder, putt putt forces.
I've promoted the most active member to the position of Officer. That member is helping others, earning quests and contributed DEC to help upgrade the buildings.
Other members, those who do quests, and/or, add DEC, get upgraded to SNR Members.
I was going to set a threshold for promotion. However, it has worked out better to pre-empt active members and accelerate their move up.
I view the concept of time, in the crypto world, in a faster pace move.
There is the remaining members who need to be sorted.
The remaining members are 2 types.
Small players, who don't have much to offer at the moment, and, potentially, Bot players who have multiple accounts.
The small players I am happy to keep within the guild. It is the charitable part of our Guild. Being a Guild participant is an awesome part of Splinterlands.
The Bot players, on the other hand, need to show some love for the Guild. They are benefitting from being a Member.
Currently, Guild membership provides +3% DEC for Battle Rewards. Also, you can buy Gladius packs with Merits earned from participating in Brawls.
So, any of these, "Bot" Accounts, can only last as a Member for a month before we'll boot them out. I don't need them if they are not going to help be a good Member.
As I've stated above. Building the Guild provides benefits.
Having the whole, Brawl participation, adds the potential to get Gladius cards, from the Guild part of the Store.
The 3% DEC bonus from Battles.
A Dec % discount for any DEC purchases.
So, it is not too much to ask for members to contribute what they can, when they can.
After, every Brawl, I have provided a Card to the person with the most wins.
I hope that it just adds another dimension of fun. The level of card is dependent on the kinds of cards that I win from the Daily Quests.
I've also been providing a card to a random Brawl participant. I figured that some members are never going to win many battles - so it is always nice to get a gift sometimes.
My merits are almost at 2000. At 2000 I get to buy a Gladius pack of cards.
Gladius cards can be used in Brawls (once our Barracks gets upgraded).
The Gladiator cards can be converted to DEC if you don't like the card. However, you cannot sell them or trade them to others. They are bound to you.
And so, the Guild has grown to a satisfactory level.
Only if the members participate can it get any better. I have a limit of time, energy & wealth. I cannot add anything more really.
