So I have always enjoyed tinkering with computers and have a small amount of technical savvy. However, when rumors of Bitcoin first started circling I foolishly paid the matter little mind. Wishing to learn from my mistake I have begun delving into the realm of cryptocurrency mining. I am not at all ashamed to admit I have no real idea how it actually works. Essentially I just found the most comprehensive free mining software I could, and started using it. By comparing relative hash rates and current market prices I found that the most profitable currency to mine currently is Monero, so that's what I now have two computers and a cellphone hashing away on. I still have a ton to learn both about the hardware and software involved so any advice from the community would be most welcome.
