I think life is going to be very uncertain for a lot of people for quite some time to come. Things have been relatively ok, all things considered, for me and mine, but there's no way to know if that will last. As I mentioned somewhere earlier, I try not to think too hard about what the future may or may not hold, it's too depressing.

As somebody who has faced my fair share of dark moments in life before covid however, I'm sure lending an ear to your friend has helped. I know it helps me in those moments - doesn't solve the problem but it helps lessen the load a little.

Hope things improve for you guys in Aus soon, it's a tough time.
