The PeakD A.I. translation tool to read this in English means I can wholeheartedly agree with your sentiment. Germany carries a lot of weight in EU politics, so some international tension is inevitable, but you shouldn't have the same pressures we have in the US where intervention is the foreign policy status quo around the globe.
Here, too, criticism of any "side" is assumed to be allegiance to the other.
Don't trust the Ukrainian government? You must side with Putin!
Oppose Israeli policies in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran? You're basically a Nazi!
Don't support the MAGA border policies and enforcement? You want foreigners to vote in elections and steal welfare benefits!
Don't want a welfare state or nationalized healthcare? Why do you want people to die?
It's tiring to try to engage in deep, nuanced conversation on anything of substance when everyone wants to turn it into football fan levels of tribalism. You're not a fan of my team? Why do you support our rivals?
The political system is dead to me. The major US parties long ago betrayed their alleged principles in pursuit of power. Minor parties are a joke, except they aren't funny. The concept of nation-states is flawed, and democracy is just false choice and bandwagon fallacies presented as a rational system to manage society.
(edited for typo and to add another point, because I still had some ranting left in my system)
