The most irritating part is seeing Trump openly doing what we all know everyone else did in secret. One side pretends it's a new outrage never seen before. The other says this time it's OK because it somehow makes us great by association. Those of us with more than a cursory knowledge of history see it as just another ratchet notch toward modern tyranny and oligarchy.
