I can see the appeal. Narrowboats, RVs, and sailboats all offer nomadic freedom in exchange for minimalist life. Some folks sail up and down the Mississippi in paddle boat houseboats. I've been trained in the basics of sailing in a proper sailboat on Lake Pend Oreille, so I know more than most (but still next to nothing) about nautical life in general. I don't know how I'd feel on the open sea. I think I'll stick with the open roads.
