Greenwashing. Bah. I'm pretty sure commercial bread was still sealed with a paper-covered wire sometimes when I was a kid. But then again, the Mother Thing may have just immediately replaced the plastic. At any rate, isn't it odd to see the shift from "save a tree, use plastic!" To, "paper and cardboard are environmentally friendly!" Over the last 30 years?
