When I was in a deep mental health pit of despair, I sought out a local game shop where weekly Dungeons &Dragons games gave me something new to try with a structured social environment. I also ran a campaign at the local library when I worked there. I would strongly recommend finding something of that sort to try. It's a bit harder to just say, "find a good church to attend," since they seem in short supply these days.
