I've been thinking about carrying a battery-powered chainsaw in the Friend-Shaped Car, especially since the windstorm toppled trees across the road where I live. Other folks with saws had the road clear by the time I went anywhere, but some day I may have to be those "other folks," and an electric unit might be just the thing to always have on hand, especially if I can kéep it charged with the 12v cig lighter plug, too.
