It stops being 4D chess in the game of politics when people get killed. War is always fought for the benefit of the political class at the expense of the productive economy, in both blood and treasure. Only the religious faith in political legitimacy sustains it.
I don't think it's possible to be President anymore (if ever) without a streak of sociopathy. Good people don't have that libido dominandi and ego.
We still don't know what the real connections were between Epstein and various global political figures, although it looks bad, and may be some kind of intelligence-related operation. There is no question Trump and Netanyahu have been cozy. The bombing last year was clearly at the behest of Israel.
