At some point, I want to live somewhere that doesn't really have winter as we know it here just a hop, skip and a jump south of Canuckistan. After a few injuries on top of chronic illness, the cold just hurts. It's probably a lot less severe for you on the coast, but I don't think the constant clouds, rain, and pervasive chill would work for me there. I wouldn't mind trying Texas heat. Florida humidity is out of the question, but warm dry air doesn't bother me much compared to the reactions I have seen from others here when real midsummer hits in July/August.
