I recently had to deal with the utterly pointless bureaucracy of auto registration and licensing. People just accept it as necessary because it is just the way things are done, never questioning the status quo. Infuriating apathy and obedience. Content to go along as their civic duty, never realizing it's just a gun to their head behind a veneer of democracy.
