The Democrats refused to tell Biden to step aside, then just appointed his running mate after their primary charade as the new face of their party, but Harris had nothing of substance. Her record in California alienated a lot of people. She couldn't muster any anti-war bona fides even to the pathetic degree Trump could. She relied on just not being Trump and the novelty of being a vaguely ethnic minority woman to carry her instead of offering a real vision for progress, which is sad from those who claim to be "progressive." She just assumed left-wing nanny state bromides to carry her through, with neither the intelligence nor the charisma to make anything stick. Even if I agreed with her and the political system broadly (obviously I don't) I would have voted 3rd party.
