Capitalism as you describe it is a convenient scapegoat for people who believe the economy is a zero-sum game. It is not a definition though.

Innumerable voluntary solutions have been developed in the past, but government usurped most of their functions into its extortion-funded monopoly as part of its attempt to buy legitimacy from the gullible.
