I don't give a crap what any celebrity says about politics based on their celebrity status, but if they happen to make compelling (or more often abysmally stupid) arguments while using their celebrity status as a platform, it can be interesting as a conversation point. "So-and-so believes X" is usually menaingless, but if they use reason and evidence (or really stupid popular BS arguments) it can start conversations.

I've given up on keeping my libertarian/anarchist ideas quiet. Playing nice and going along to get along didn't prevent a bunch of Karens from destroying my library district. It would be one thing if they wanted to find a way to fund it without taxes, but it's another when they accuse everyone of "grooming the kids" while citing BS from Portland, Oregon or the greater Seattle area as proof our little small town libraries with Christians and Mormons on the staff are having some kind of secret drag queen story hours and fondling kids.

I hate the Democrats, but nowadays, FUCK MAGA, too.
