I have a relative who is a "felon" for challenging the IRS and their extortion. His guns were confiscated. He lives in the country, and there are stumps within a hundred yards of his house that have been torn apart by bears. Never mind that the 2nd amendment was allegedly included specifically to ensure the right to self-defense against man and beast including government goons. Never mind that they have no excuse based on even the tiniest allegation of any history of violence. His rights are infringed now.
