I appreciate the pass as a librarian. I think it's more ethical than being an engineer in the nominally private-sector military-industrial complex at least, and I can spread the seditious idea of liberty. I will also always advocate for voluntary funding, because while the library is a good service appreciated by the public, that doesn't justify extortion to fund it.

As for the absurdity of perfectionism, there is an argument among left-anarchists that private property isn't a feasible option because history is so full of political and private-sector violence and theft. No one in the Rothbardian/Misesian camp denies that it would be messy for a while as everything gets sorted out, and much has been wrotten discussing how to resolve disputes in government title versus rightful claim, but it's not an insurmountable obstacle.
